Eid ul Fitr is a religious feast celebrated by Muslims worldwide. Eid al-Fitr pays tribute to the completion of the holy month of Ramadan. It is a public holiday on Eid-ul-Fitr. The majority of businesses and schools are closed, and most people have the day off. Muslims celebrate the end of Ramadan with food and festivities. Many individuals visit their hometowns to spend Eid with their family. So the Eid holidays of three days is a must all over the world.
Regarding the prayers for Eid, religious experts differ. All Muslims, however, should attend the prayers on both Eids, as the majority of scholars believe it to be Wajib (obligatory) based on solid evidence. One of the goals of Eid Prayer is to give a lot more Muslims a chance to join gatherings in a religiously charged environment. In addition to prayer, this gathering has made the Eid sermon which comes after the prayer a major component.
During Eid ul Fitr, individuals exchange “Eid Mubarak” greetings and pay visits to friends and relatives to join in the excitement of the occasion. Every Muslim, slave, male or female, young or old, is required to observe Sadaqat-ul-Fitr (also known as fitrah/fitrana). Zakat ul-Fitr is mandatory for Muslims, just as regular Zakat. (Nisab Is the exemption limit for the payment of Zakat). Each person is required to donate a least of one Sa’ worth of grain, barley, or dates for Sadaqa Al-Fitr. That being said, throughout Ramadan, Muslim scholars worldwide typically declare the amount of Zakat Al-Fitr that must be paid.
Zakat Al-Fitr is given to Muslims who are in need. Giving Sadaqat-ul-Fitr to needy neighbors, relatives, and other Muslims in need comes first in the ideal order.
Eid ul Fitr is a very special day for everyone, so be kind to everyone on this day. Celebrate the day by giving gifts to loved ones and indulging in delectable festive feasts. Donate as much as you can to the needy so that your Muslim brothers and sisters may also celebrate this holy day.
